Bringing Compassion to Every Corner of Norfolk

Across Norfolk, patients receiving care from Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust are not just in hospitals or clinics - they're in their own homes, managing conditions every day. Whether it's urgent care, palliative support, or virtual ward care, these patients rely on dedicated NHS teams to bring essential treatment and comfort directly to them.

Over the past year, we've worked closely with community nurses to understand the real challenges patients face at home. This insight has inspired us to fund simple yet life-changing projects and small acts of care that bring dignity, independence, and relief to those in need.

Your Support in Action

Thanks to generous donations, we have funded:

  • Ear cannula cushions - Soft pads that prevent soreness from nasal oxygen tubes, easing ear pain and facial pressure.
  • Emergency toiletry packs - Providing hygiene essentials for patients without family support, helping them maintain dignity and comfort.
  • Specialist diet guidance books - Helping patients with conditions like diabetes or swallowing difficulties manage their health through better nutrition.
  • Temporary wheelchair ramps - Enabling patients to attend crucial medical appointments while waiting for long-term mobility solutions.
  • Adaptive drinking vessels - Supporting multiple sclerosis patients in staying hydrated more easily.
  • Inflatable hair wash basins - Allowing bedbound patients to have their hair washed, improving comfort and wellbeing.
  • Handheld fans for COPD patients - Helping those with chronic lung conditions manage breathlessness.

These aren't expensive solutions, but they make a huge difference. A small gift can bring comfort, independence, and relief to someone in need.
