Volunteer for NCH&C Charitable Fund
Volunteering is a great way to thank your community NHS Trust and make a difference to the lives of patients in Norfolk. Our amazing volunteers help the NHC&C Charitable Fund in a number of different ways, some support our charity team with admin while others spend time in our local hospitals, help maintain our green spaces, organise collection tins or help out at events.
There are many benefits to volunteering including:
- Making a difference to patients and NHS staff in your local community
- Learning new skills, meeting new people and making new friends
- Keeping fit and healthy (for our gardeners)
- For students, volunteering can offer a welcome break from classes
- The feel-good factor you get from giving back!
We couldn’t do what we do without the wonderful support of our volunteers. Just a few hours once a month could be a huge help. If you have any spare time to lend a helping hand, we’d love to hear from you. No matter how much time you’re able to give, please get in touch to find out more about how you can make a difference.

We’re lucky to have some beautiful green spaces at our hospitals, but tending to them comes at a cost. We couldn’t do it without our wonderful volunteers! If you or someone you know could spare a few hours each month to help out in one of our NCH&C gardens across Norfolk, we’d love to hear from you! Every gardening volunteer receives a FREE pair of gardening gloves! Get in touch to find out more.
